Straight from the fertile volcanic slopes of Cerro Verde and Llamatepec, this El Salvador SHG EP coffee is one for anyone who wants their coffee to actually taste of somewhere. Grown between 1,200 and 1,750 metres by smallholder farmers using Bourbon and Pacas varieties, it's a coffee shaped by altitude, rich volcanic soil and a lot of care at harvest.

The cherries are washed, then dried in the sun and finished mechanically, a process that keeps things clean and consistent, letting the natural character of the beans come through rather than getting lost in the processing. The result is a well-balanced, easy-drinking cup of coffee with real depth, roasted medium to bring out its natural sweetness without tipping into bitterness.

Flavour Profile

  • Expect chocolate and caramel sweetness up front, with red apple and orange adding brightness and a crisp, clean finish. This is single-origin El Salvador SHG EP coffee at its best.
